Other than bragging rights, I'm not really sure why somebody would pay top dollar for something that isn't documented or signed. Well except for a flimsy bill of sale.

Story is pretty embellished. Yes SOME of those groups used enclosures LIKE that. Or rather, the company did when providing their sound.No guarantee those specific ones.
And think the part about Robert Plant and the record company asking for them is 100% BS. I worked a couple of Showco tours in a low level position. AFAIK they developed their tech all on their own.
Bragging rights is all that is for sale. IMHO kinda flimsy ones. It is partly for charity.
